Yuugo Sayama (茶山 優五, Sayama Yūgo?), former name Yuugo Sugata (守形 優五, Sugata Yūgo?), is the main protagonist of the spin-off series, Yūryō Bukken Mō Dame Sō: Furo, Toilet to Tenshi wa Kyōdō Desu. He is a jobless man who lives in the cheapest apartment known as "Dame Sou", where only losers would live there. It's later revealed that he is actually the younger brother of Eishirou Sugata.
Appearance[]
Similar to his older brother Sugata Eiishirou, Yuugo is a tall young man who sports delicate black hair and purple eyes. He always dresses in plain black T-shirts and dark blue jeans. Yuugo wears a pair of large, rectangular glasses. His facial expression is almost always neutral, calm and collected.
Background[]
Yuugo was born as a result of the death of his oldest brother, and his second brother being disowned by their family afterwards for his role in it. Yuugo become the heir to the Sugata family in place of both of his brothers.

Yuugo only appeared once in Sora No Otoshimono as a young child when Sugata briefly returned to his home. He then witnessed a truck crash into the house.

Young Yuugo's hair color changed to black due to emotional abuses
As Yuugo grew older, he received tons of stresses from his parents due to emotional abuses for his failure in educations, so much to the point that his hair color turned black in the process. His parents even claimed that Yuugo is even worse than his brother Eishirou by comparison.
One day, Yuugo meet a girl named Hayu Hinata, a transfer student in his school. Upon guilding Hayu, she immediately noticed that Yuugo is faking his smile and it makes her sad. Since then, Yuugo and Hayu always playing together at a beach and Hayu would always told him to be happy as there are still something that he could find it enjoyable. With this, Yuugo slowly open his heart and believes that the time he spent with Hayu were the happiest times in his life.
Yuugo's father declared to abandon his son for his own failures
The happiness won't last long as sometimes later, Yuugo and Hayu were arguing over something, he claimed that no matter how hard he tried to study, none of his efforts would ever be rewarded. Hayu then claimed that everyone could become better as long as they tried their best to improve and tried to prove him wrong by swimming at the beach, despite that she doesn't know how to swim. Soon, Hayu ended up drowning and then fall into the sea. Yuugo contacted the police to save Hayu's life with no success, as she had been disappeared from the sea. As such, they declared that she had passed away from drowning. While Yuugo was saddened by Hayu's death, his father was disappointed at the whole incident and told Yuugo that he is unfit to be part of the Sugata's family as he ruined his election. His father also said that he doesn't want to see Yuugo's face again and told him to not cause anymore unnecessary troubles in front of him.
After Yuugo has been abandoned by the Sugata family, he changed his family name to "Sayama" and became somewhat suicidal. He moved to an apartment known as "Dame Sou", where only losers live.
Several years after the incident, when Yuugo returns to his room, an angel suddenly appeared in front of him by teleportation. The angel's name is Hamuel, she was sent to the human realm from the "heaven" and given an order to help Yuugo to find job and not becoming a "loser".
Relationships[]
- Eishirou Sugata - In the main series, Yuugo doesn't know who Sugata is due to how their parents neglected him. In the spin-off series, as he grew older, Yuugo begin to hate his older brother just like their parents, to the point he did prefer to not to talk with him again. Yuugo blamed all of his own misfortunes on his brother and claimed he was the one who ruined the whole Sugata family in the first place. Later after Sugata apologized to his brother for his terrible childhood memories and their family's divorce, the siblings learned to accept each other and have some kind of reconciliation.
