Tomoko Sakurai (さくらい ともこ, sakurai tomoko?) is the technical sister of Tomoki Sakurai. She debuted in chapter 43 of the manga, becoming a separate entity. She possesses her own personality. In said chapter, she merely wanted to maintain her newly obtained life, befriend the girls at school, and be accepted.
Tomoko has medium, dark-black hair styled by two clips attaching to the upper part of the strand of hair going down her face: one red and the other blue. She also has dark-brown eyes.
Tomoko greatly resembles her technical mother Tomoyo Sakurai. Her measurements are: weight 43 Kg, height 157cm (5'2"), hips 87cm, bust 75cm, waist 49cm.
Tomoko, when separated from Tomoki, does not have any remarkable abilities; however, it was shown that she gained the ability to merge with Tomoki at will upon becoming an individual. Unless Tomoko is manipulated, she does not have even the slightest interest in merging with him. If she is manipulated, then she unwillingly, and unfortunately, goes on a perverted rampage that she wouldn't do under normal circumstances, as she is actually timid and shy. She, herself, is not actually perverted; her perversion is simply a side effect of her having been trapped inside of Tomoki.
Tomoko, as an individual character when separated, is shy, timid, and scared of interacting with people. This is a sharp contrast to the ditsy, clumsy, gregarious personality Tomoki pretends to have when he disguises himself as her. As stated, Tomoko herself is the polar opposite. She is sexually attracted to males, and possibly females as well. Her attraction to females is debatable, as she only went on a perverted rampage because she had her mind manipulated beforehand. Tomoko is very feminine, but that's only logical for her, as she is an actual girl when separated from Tomoki. Tomoko is also extremely emotional, and can be prone to crying if she is thought of as a boy by the others. An example of this is shown within her debut chapter, where she broke into tears after being lied to by Tomoki that she was really a man.
While she prefers to be alone, she still desires friendship with other girls, and to be accepted.
Separated From Tomoki Edit
Her true personality was shown when she became an individual in chapter 43. When Tomoko was separated from Tomoki in this chapter of the manga, it was evident that she was bewildered and did not know where to go as she was just given freedom as a person. She could be seen her picking petals off of a flower after she had begun to develop romantic feelings towards Sugata. Again showing that she is in fact an individual separate from Tomoki. When Tomoki found her and told her to "merge" back with him, she seemed hesitant but agreed at first; however, upon seeing Sugata, she began to realize that she was truly in love, and enjoying her own life.
Tomoki, desperate, decided to try to, "reawaken", her masculinity, which the scared girl obviously did not have. When Tomoki began to tell her lies such as that she was really a man, was really not a girl, and needed to "merge" back with him, it only caused her more distress and bewilderment. Finally, after Tomoki's last resort of showing her a lewd magazine in hopes that it would convince her to join with him, Tomoko was pushed over the edge and tearfully called him a cockroach after telling the boy that she never wanted to see him again.
Shortly after this had occured, we see Tomoko beginning to make friends with the students at her new school. Ikaros, now enraged because her master, Tomoki, was unable to pet her head, attempted to forcibly merge Tomoko with Tomoki. This frightens Tomoko and desperately tells Ikaros that, in a way, she is her Master as well. Of course, she only said this to stop Ikaros from harming her. Hearing this, Ikaros believes the lie, and pauses, as she does not want to hurt her "Master." Ikaros then trips, falling on top of Tomoko and shoving the latter's face directly into her breasts. Tomoko immediately begins to feel something very intense and unusual. This feeling was the perversion that was unfortunately left inside of her as a side effect from being trapped inside of Tomoki for so long. Ikaros then realizes that she may have found a way to convince Tomoko to merge with Tomoki. Ikaros then fires Artemis to cut off the clothes of Tomoko's new friends. This apparently aroused her yet again. Shortly after these intense sensations began to grow stronger, Astraea was thrown at her. In Tomoko's confusion and feeling as if something was missing, Ikaros presented Tomoki to her. Tomoko, after having her mind manipulated by not only Tomoki, but Ikaros as well, decides to merge with Tomoki. (As previously stated, her decision to merge was only due to her being manipulated, and not a conscious choice.) Tomoki's lies to her, Ikaros taking advantage of the perversion that she could not help having, and the fact that she was helplessly confused during all of this, lead the girl to a state of mind in which she agreed to merge with Tomoki; however, before this happens, Tomoki stops her and claims that if they work together, they can touch twice the amount of breasts. Tomoko, with her mind having been warped, agrees. The two of them then began chasing Tomoko's new friends. Sohara then attempts to stop Tomoki from touching the other girls, and manipulating Tomoko's mind any further, by giving him one of her karate chops; however, this creates a tiny clone of Tomoko and shrinks Tomoki even further. Sohara relentlessly attempts to karate chop him, but it only makes matters worse. After this, Tomoko merged with Tomoki until at least the ending of the manga.
Due to the events that took place surrounding her in the manga, it is rather likely that Tomoko was separated from Tomoki forever a short time after the series ended. This can be assumed by taking into consideration that she isn't just a transformation anymore. She is now an actual person, with her own thoughts and emotions.
Before Separating From Tomoki Edit
Before she became a separate character altogether, "Tomoko" was merely a transformation that Tomoki would use to spy on girls. Of course, when she was separated into an actual person/girl, this fact ruined her reputation among many people, leading to complications in her relationships with the rest of the main girls; however, Tomoko as an individual character, as previously stated, is kindhearted, loving and innocent. This is the polar opposite to the pervert Tomoki would hide when he transformed into her.
Tomoki - Technical Brother
Sugata - Love interest
Girls at school - Close friends. They see her as a role model to attract guys.
Mikako - Love rival
Tomoyo - Technical Mother
- Tomoko herself debuts in chapter 43.
- Tomoki, when disguised as Tomoko, makes appearances in Chapters 16, 33, and 59.
- Her Japanese voice actor is also the voice-bank of Hatsune Miku.
- Tomoko has become an actual character in the series as opposed to just being a mere transformation used by Tomoki to do a variety of perverted acts. This was all shown in chapter 43 of the manga.
- At the end of chapter 43 of the manga, Tomoko was tricked into merging with Tomoki due to her confusion concerning her aroused state. It is very likely that she became separated from Tomoki forever sometime after the series ended.
