For Whom the Shooting Festival is Held is the 8^th episode of the first season of Heaven's Lost Property. 

Summary

Sugata discusses the colonization of the then new world in the 15th century at the beginning of the episode.

The episode revolves around a celebration at the nearby shrine of Sorami. Mikako shows up and explains that she is planning a survival game, supposedly with cork guns. The last "survivor" get a lot of money. Ikaros flies with a gatling gun around and shoots almost all the people. Tomoki tells her to stay away from trouble.

However, Nymph attacks her. She wants to bring back her memories, but they thereby activated Ikaros self-repair program, whereby the Uranus Queen Ikaros reawakened in partially, but Ikaros has control over their thoughts and urges Nymph with Apollo to go at the ready. Nymph has no choice and she withdraws. Meanwhile, followed Sohara Tomoki, who wants to take revenge on him for any inconvenience this with a real gun, what they do not know, however. Just before they would shoot Tomoki, Ikaros is located between Tomoki and Sohara and thus intercepts the ball, which, amazingly, do nothing to her, except for a small wound to the head, but nothing serious. Tomoki had initially thought that Ikaros was dead. He yelled at her, but without hope that she would react. But she just stood up to his great astonishment. Sohara expires in a state of shock, as they almost Tomoki had just killed. Sugata they disarmed. Tomoki says to Ikaros at the end, during the fireworks, that it upset him that she would risk her life and die for him. You should not be so go to their limits. This Ikaros touched so much that she began to cry.

Daedalus looks like Nymph deal with Ikaros and Tomoki therefore advised to be cautious.

Trivia

• If Tomoki wanted 10 mil yen, he could've just asked Ikaros for it. In the first episode he gained a huge amount of money.( In the manga, however, Tomoki lost that card due to his wish for that day to become a dream)
• Man of Judas and Old woman in Nursing Home are introduced in this episode and story arc.
