Charon (カロン, Karon?), known better as the Archangel (天使長, Tenshi-chō?) is the leader of the "heaven" introduced in the spin-off series, Yūryō Bukken Mō Dame Sō: Furo, Toilet to Tenshi wa Kyōdō Desu.

She was presumably created by Minos to help him maintain the security of the Synapse, granted the title of the Archangel. She became the new ruler of Synapse afterwards.
At some point before the events of the spin-off series, Charon meet a high school boy in the human world who would became her master. Her master would be killed by a "certain guy" and was then buried somewhere around the Synapse.

Yūryō Bukken Mō Dame Sō: Furo, Toilet to Tenshi wa Kyōdō Desu[]
Charon is the one who sent Hamuel into the human realm to guilt Yuugo Sayama out from his miserable life.
Charon made her debut at the end of Chapter 17. She shows herself to Hamuel and ordered her to return to "heaven" immediately. Hamuel was confused with the Archangel's intentions, but Charon refused to explain, other than that it would be dangerous if Yuugo learned more about their secrets. She also sees Yurara Tategami as a threat to the natural laws. Charon threatened Hamuel that if she doesn't follow her orders, she will kill Yuugo and his friends and then erase the entire city from existence, leaving Hamuel with no choice but return to the "heaven".
After they returned to the "heaven", Hamuel asked Charon why the Synapse never stop raining and the latter said that the rain represents Yuugo's regrets. She explained that Hamuel's true identity is Yuugo's childhood friend Hayu. She also explained that human were supposed to be reincarnated once their beloved family members and friends let go of their past. However, due to Yuugo's regrets, Hamuel couldn't be reincarnated. As such, the Archangel gave Hamuel a task to help Yuugo just so that he could forget her and move forward, allowing her to finally able to reincarnate in the mortal realm. Charon also explained the reincarnation is considered forbidden knowledge to the humanity, as if they were aware that reincarnation is possible, then they have no reason to live any longer and they went to kill themselves off just so they can have happier life in their next life. As such, her master created this law to avoid such incident from happening and she had to forced Hamuel to leave the mortal realm as soon as possible.
When Charon discovered that Yuugo managed to enter the Synapse and tries to bring Hamuel back to the mortal realm, she went ahead to stop him and want to kill him. He accepted her challenge and said he will defeat her so that she can send them back to the mortal realm. Angered by Yuugo's words, Charon released the lightning with her spear Poseidon. Soon, Yuugo thrown an potion which created smokescreen which the Archangel said it's useless as her eyes allows her to find the location of her opponent easily even with the smoke blinding her vision. However, when she tried to reach him, she realized that he had suddenly disappeared and then he threw several sleeping potions at her. Charon said the sleeping potions is ineffective against her as she's an Angeloid and Angeloids don't have sleep function. Yuugo then thrown another potion at her face which is said to be a poison. While injured, Charon said that even poison won't work against her as she has a ability to regenerate herself and actived the regeneration.
After Charon healed herself, Yuugo told her that she will never defeat him as she isn't really as wise as her look suggested to be and then away. She tried to chase him but she suddenly fell down as he set a trap, and then Yuugo pour an potion at her face. She tried to attack him at close range but he easily dodged it and created another smokescreen. Charon then created a shockwave with Poseidon and said this time she won't miss the target and then launched her attack. However, the shockwave hit the giant tree in the front of him instead and caused it to fall, about to destroy her master's grave. Charon ignored Yuugo and chase after the giant tree to protect the grave. Yuugo went ahead to protect her from getting hit by the fall tree and took the fall himself.
After Yuugo saved Charon, he stated that he saved her because he realized that the grave is important to her and he can understand her pain for losing someone she hold dearly. He explained all those potions he threw at her earlier weren't just merely waters, but an toxicity poison that could easily erase a living thing from existences, even if that thing is an mechanical being like her, this effect could only activated when four potions mixed together which was exactly the reason why he threw three potions at her earlier. However, when Charon went ahead to protect her master's grave while ignored Yuugo, he had no choice but to protect her which lost his one and only chance to active the poison. Charon is surprised that Yuugo actually protected her from falling tree despite being his enemy. She then asked him if he managed to injure her, what kind of responsibility would he took. Yuugo answered it with marriage in which she felt embarrassed. Soon, Charon opened the portal for them and told Yuugo to never visit Synapse ever again. Yuugo then ignored her words and said he will pay a visit again in the future as he believes she is lonely given she still can't forget her beloved master after all these time.
As they leaving, Charon looking at her master's grave with a sad face, remembering her past on how she meet her master and the creation of the "heaven" with her master's help. Charon began to have mental breakdowns and cried at her master's grave, while remembering her master's promise that he will marry her and form a family together at the human world.
Sometimes later, Charon opened the portal to visit Dame Sou apartment, she said that she accepted Yuugo's proposal and she will become his wife, which caused the girls around him even more angrier after they're already offended at his attitude towards women. Seeing the situation, Zenji suggested Yuugo to create his own harem and marry all those girls so that they won't need to argue over who should become his wife. However, Yuugo denied it as he find it troublesome.

Relationships[]
- Minos - Not much is known about their relationship other than the fact she was created by him.
- Hamuel - An ordinary human girl whom Charon "transformed" her into an angel after Hamuel failed her reincarnation process. Charon feel pity at Hamuel and her past that lead to her death as a human, although she has also shown that she won't hesitate to kill Hamuel if she breaks the rules or goes against her orders.
Trivia[]
- The spear she's holding is Poseidon, the same spear that Minos used against Tomoki in the main series.
- According to Hamuel, Charon's power is weaker than Ikaros due to the latter have larger wings than the former does. It's later confrimed by Eishirou Sugata that her power is comparable to Ikaros and she could turn a city into a dust if she wants.
- While the face aren't shown, Charon's master looked somewhat resembles Sugata and his speech pattern was similar to his younger brother Yuugo. Both Sugata and Yuugo has stated that they've meet Charon once before.
